Jane Carroll RN, BSN, Certified Coach radio host, speaker and author has a passion for combining her healthcare expertise and offbeat sense of humor in promoting emotional well being and a balanced lifestyle.

"Although I've always worked in very serious environments, I knew that I couldnt take myself too seriously. My former co-workers were never bored when I was around and my patients often exercised their funny bones."
She has presented to the Alabama/Georgia Sections of Association of Women's Health, Obstetrical, and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN), Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Bosom Buddies, Post Polio Support Group, Parkinson's Support Group, Senior Circle, and many other community and healthcare organizations.
Jane's delightful 'Bertha' vignettes have appeared on www.youcanhaveitall.com and www.CindyMorus.com. Her first book Bertha-Size Your Life, (The Authors Press) was released October 2005.
Jane personally incorporated one of her favorite questions, "If not now, when?" into her own life as she transitioned from a 25 year career in nursing to follow her dream of becoming a fulltime author and speaker.
"One day it occurred to me that it was time to follow my own advice. It wasn't a decision that I made lightly. I had to know that I could survive financially during the transition. Enjoying my dream is wonderful, but I also like to eat!"
Jane uses humor to bridge the gap for those who are on a personal quest of self-improvement and those who relate personal growth to having a separate height mark on the wall for each of their children. There's something for everyone!
"Each person has a set point, a starting place, my intention is to reach that person where they are today and start on the wonderful journey into tomorrow."
"If I couldn't laugh, I think I'd burst. If I couldn't sing silly songs, I know I would!"
Jane is the mother of two grown daughters. She is joyously anticipating the birth of her first grandchild in July 2006. She currently lives in North Alabama with her cat following a four year stint on the Gulf Coast.
"Raising my daughters into delightful women was one of the greatest pleasures of my life and playing with my granddaughter is sheer delight! Raising my ten year old cat is a totally different story. I'm still waiting for her to leave the nest."
